Today we will be talking about a community initiative that our nonprofit is working on. Launching a coping toolbox for children, teens, and families who have been impacted by cancer. This initiative was inspired by the resilience and compassion of Brooke Taylor, a cancer survivor and coach, whose personal journey of caregiving and surviving cancer sparked the creation of the Family Cancer Support Toolbox. This initiative shows the power of community and shared experiences in supporting families facing cancer. My answer may seem simple or it may possibly seem complex. But I am inspired by the idea and experience of fleeting time. I am inspired by the people who stand in their truth, in a world full of judgement, materialism, suppression of emotions and hate; knowing that time is temporary and it’s so easy to fall into the pit of it all. The very people who remind us that the darkness cannot exit without the light. The people who remind us to let our hair down, speak our truth, follow our dreams, smile more, laugh at ourself, eat the last doughnut, go on a random hike not for the look of it but for the view from up high. i’m inspired by the beauty in everyday moments. i like stylish and creative people around me. nature is also a huge source of inspiration, grounding me and helping me reconnect with simplicity and balance. i’m also very inspired by yoga. and of course, i love turning to pinterest where i can explore endless ideas for my content.
