What’s the right work-life balance for you?

Our community is filled with hard-working, high achieving entrepreneurs and creatives and so work-life balance is a complicated, but highly relevant topic. We’ve shared some responses from the community about work life balance and how their views have evolved over time below.

Over time, my work–life balance has improved a lot. At the beginning of my career, I was very focused on work and study, but I learned that maintaining balance actually helps me perform better. Now, I make sure to dedicate time to things that recharge me—like practicing yoga, creating content for my page, and traveling. These activities give me energy, creativity, and perspective, which I can then bring back into my work as a pharmacist. For me, traditional work-life balance doesn’t exist. Every big challenge in business comes with significant risk and immense pressure. I thrive in that environment — my version of “balance” is not slowing down but managing risk effectively while keeping my foot firmly on the gas.
I measure balance as the point where high pressure meets high achievement. That achievement can be hitting the ultimate goal or celebrating the small wins along the way — every step forward counts. Read More>>

Honestly, this is one of the biggest challenges in my life. I haven’t found a perfect balance yet because I juggle a lot: family, being a worship leader, professional musician, friends, and even making time to exercise.
