I got the opportunity to manage Boomtown Tees at the perfect time in my life. I have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and after a year of working in the field, aka tiny cubicle, I realized I hated it — just absolutely wasn’t for me. Being so hands on while learning to run a business, and screen print on top of that, has been an experience that’s changed my life. Whether I’m creating new designs that our customers will love or printing it on a t-shirt, the whole experience has given me the creative outlet that I desperately needed and I can’t imagine being at a desk job again. I’ve always been into Nail Art but what really pushed me into this career was the experience from my previous job. I had a opportunity to do branding for a salon business and this position required multitasking so many things.
