Where are you from and how has it impacted you?

Even if you are from the same neighborhood as someone else, you might still be coming from different places. Where you are from is a complicated question and it elicits complicated, but interesting and thought-provoking responses. We’ve shared some of those responses below.

My background and upbringing, which includes being born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, have had a significant influence on who I am today. Growing up in Ukraine, I gained a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a global perspective. My Ukrainian heritage and cultural experiences have shaped my identity. My ten-year stint in the travel industry, during which I ran my own travel company, has played a pivotal role in my development. This experience has equipped me with valuable skills in customer service and a dedication to providing high-quality service. I was born in Bath, England and grew up half there, plus in BC Canada. Due to having to move a lot and change schools constantly, it def made me learn to adapt quickly & make friends easily. I was always friends with the “new kid” because I always knew how that felt. I’ve also lived in many cities & countries so I have definitely grown up to love and respect all kinds of different cultures. Read more>>

I was born and raised in Stinnett, Texas. A small town filled with love and support. Though I faced challenges, many people from small towns see, they formed me into the person I am today.
