Meet Brianna Diaz: Fitness & Health Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brianna, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Habits have a compound effect in your life. They dictate who you become in the weeks, months, and years to follow. It’s the day to day that makes your life what it is today.
I attribute a large part of my success to 3 main habits; exercise, reading, and goal setting.
Exercise, the habit that has paved way for such strength and clarity. Training my muscles, day in and day out, has helped me build a powerful body, but more importantly, a powerful mind.
Reading books, the habit that has been transformative in my mindset. There is power in everyone’s stories and experiences, so I pay attention and let their words guide me through my own life. Feeding my brain with thought provoking concepts and knowledge has given me mentorship and guidance that I feel safe in.
Goal setting, the habit that gives me direction. It gives me direction on what I want in my life, and what I want to manifest. I use a journal that refines what is important to me.
These habits have compounded to who I am today. I look at my life now and thank my past self for being so disciplined for creating me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hi I am Bri, a Latina Personal Trainer and Online Coach. This is my story: I began my health journey in 2017 because I was sick of feeling unhappy with myself and my body. I wanted to change my story, and when I made that decision and worked on my mind, my body followed.
I am certified through the National Academy of Sports and Medicine (NASM) and have helped countless individuals create a lifestyle that is holistic and sustainable. I am honored to empower women to feel strong, powerful, and confident in their bodies and in their minds.
I learned that the more I showed up for myself, the more I can show up for the women in my business. I went through the experiences that most of these women go through; body dysmorphia, gym intimidation, disordered eating, and so much more struggle and I realized I needed to change that story.
Thus, day in and day out I share my story and my knowledge. This is how I build my business, giving my best to my people and learning all along the way.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
LOS ANGELES
I would say a days worth of fun is plenty. Because the rest of the week I would be working hard, at a coffee shop, getting my dreams built!
A perfect day in LA would look like this..
We would start off with a hike in Malibu to watch the sunrise overlooking the ocean and the morning skies.
Then eat at Sage Plant Bistro in Culver City for their organic blueberry pancakes (SO YUM)
Next we would head over to Beverly and take a stroll down the stores, dreambuilding and manifesting what we want in life.
Lastly, we would end off the night at the beach, with a book, watching the sunset.
LA has much more to see and offer, and each hangout would follow this theme of exercise, nature, and food! 🙂

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My successes wouldn’t be possible without the tremendous love of my family, my mentors, my friends, the books I read, the people I surround myself with, and the universe for being so kind to me.
I have an endless list of people whom I cherish for the support on this journey. I am truly lucky.
I want to thank my basketball coach Josh Baker for being a rock during my childhood times.
I want to thank A Bridge For Kids, the organization that helped me see the world outside and encouraged me to dream big.
I want to thank Andy Frisella for his impactful podcast that was a constant reminder to own my power and start a business.
These are a few of the many monumental people that helped me build what I am now.
