We had the good fortune of connecting with Chancellor Warhol and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chancellor, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk takers can be bliss makers. I think that without risk there is no real reward in life. You can’t create an empire with out having confidence that even if something fails you will gain a lesson and be able to push through. It is essential to the path of being ones best self.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart is that I really work hard to have my DNA in my work. I don’t want to use the word aesthetic so let’s say DNA lol. I have been a musician, a fashion designer, a director, a voice actor, etc. I think by organically being curious and striving to make a mark is what sets me apart. I am however very much a fan of the collaboration and a student of art. I am most proud of my work as a whole body from building a 18ft Eiffel Tower for a set design performance or doing a listening party in a planetarium to directing creative music videos for Rae Sremmurd, Zaia, etc. I’m also excited about my new short film, work i’m doing with our label Not Fit For Society, and I’m working on a book of my photography. I learned to just have fun, prepare, be on time, and most of all motivate those around you and you can turn any set to Disneyland. I want the world to know that everything may never be perfect but even the greats tried until everything aligned. I think my story feels like Forrest Gump sometimes lol, right place right time but I’m somehow prepared at all times.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh man, this question makes me ready for things to open back up. Ok so we’d grab coffee at Maru or Intelligentsia and have a walk near Mt Washington or Hike up to the Griffith Observatory or Brand Library. Lunch would follow at either Destroyer or Sqirl. Gagosian, The Hammer, or Tase Gallery for art or we’d go do a Case study house tour from The Stahl House to the HollyHock House. Shopping at Departmento or Maxfield, followed by dinner at Bavel, Bestia followed by drinks at Bibo Ergo Sum, APOTHEKE LA, Bar Calo, or In Sheep’s clothing. For dancing, Tenants (of The Trees), Zebulon, Virgil, Breakroom 86 or The Standard Rooftop. After club munchies at 2am would be Fred 62 or Norm’s hands down. I wish we had a Waffle House though.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shout out J Hill, Hunnedspoke Records, Ducko Mcfli, Al Lozano, Eyes(Carrington), and Sykesense. So many more people I could thank or shoutout because you have so many important moments where a person helped change or guide the course.
