We had the good fortune of connecting with Vivianna Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vivianna, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I feel like taking risks in life is a must. Whether it be in your career or relationships. Its important first to believe in yourself and who you are and what you have to offer the world. Once you establish that you have to put yourself out there for the world to see. And cross your fingers that people can understand your heart and appreciate your vision.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Somethhing Good LA has come a long way these past 2 years. We look at it now and realize wow we have created a brand. We have a team of caring, compassionate, enthusiastic and overall good people. This I feel it is so important because when we aren’t present they are a direct reflection of who we are and what we have established. The other ways in which we have stayed successful is building relationships with other businesses. That is what helped us during the pandemic. So many businesses reached out for help and in return they helped us stay afloat during hard times. One door lead to another door and more opportunities. This past year was not easy it was hard but where there is a will there is a way. If you believe in yourself and want something bad enough it is acheiveable.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I personally love the feel of the city so we would definetly make a trip out to DTLA to go through all the tunnels and go crazy honking our car horn! Take a ride on Angels flight down to the Grand Central Market and just hit up the food scene. The beach is definetly a must! Take a drive down PCH and grab food at Malibu Seafood. We have to hit up an amusement park and that would be Universal Studios! Riding the tram never get old for me!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife Mariana Acosta has been my biggest supporter and backbone of this entire operation. I get teary eyed just thinking about how selfless and committed she has been through this entire journey. I mean come on who quits their full time Job to come along for my ride. Her background in hospitality, accounting and management has really helped lay down the foundation for our company. She’s been my rock through it all. My parents, sisters, in laws and family have
Been behind us both from the very start. Whenever we have events they are there either working alongside us or spreading the word. It feels good to know so many people have our back!
