We had the good fortune of connecting with Ava Milva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ava, what is the most important factor behind your success?

I feel the most important factor behind my success is the fact that I never gave up. When I was first starting on my spiritual journey I didn’t know where it would take me but I kept following my heart and trusting the process. I have always believed that it is important to live a life that we love and feel fulfilled in so I couldn’t settle doing a job or career that I wasn’t passionate about. So I went on a path of self discovery and in the process I ended up discovering my true soul purpose which is healing and changing people’s lives. As I pursued what I was inspired by I began to discover my healing gifts and the joy I experience when I make a difference in people’s lives. Success doesn’t happen overnight. It is a series of steps taken in the right direction that add up over time to a life full of abundance. The secret is to not get discouraged in the process. The first steps are always the hardest as they are leaps of faith without much of an outcome in sight. That is why trusting your vision and moving forward no matter what are key. Eventually all the hard work pays off and the doors start opening leading to the life we have been dreaming of.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Creating Etherica has been the most miraculous and incredible experience of my life. It was created with the intention to change people’s lives by taking them beyond the mundane and into the infinite realm of the spirit. Why I love Etherica is because it is a unique experience which combines different healing modalities to create an experience of healing of letting go of old pain or trauma and stepping into a life full of possibilities. The modalities that we use are sound healing, mantra, energy healing, meditation, breathwork and kundalini which activate the energy to its highest potential. Each journey is a unique experience and we thrive on making people’s lives better. There have definitely been challenges along the way. With the onset of the pandemic we had to pause on the live events for a bit, but now we are back doing live outdoor events, which have been absolutely incredible. Our mission is to heal, elevate and change people’s lives while bringing a conscious community together. We are here to serve in these times and are truly grateful to share these healing modalities and raise the frequency of humanity through sound and light.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend is visiting we would definitely go hiking a few times- Runyon Canyon, Griffith Park and Temescal Canyon Park are some of my favorite hiking trails. We would also definitely go eat at Cafe Gratitude, Crossroads Cafe, Gracias Madre, Sage Plant Bistro and Terroni’s. We would get healthy juices and smoothies from Beverly Hills Juice Club, Earthbar and Pressed Juicery. We would go grocery shopping at Erewhon and Whole Foods. We would take a day trip to Ojai and soak in the hot springs. We would book a spa day at the Beverly Hot Springs. For a special night out we would go to Inn of the Seventh Ray. We would check out Malibu Country Mart for a beach day and brunch and we would go horseback riding in Griffith Park with Circle K Riding. We would take a yoga class outdoors in the park or by the beach.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am truly grateful to all the mentors I have had in my life to help inspire me and teach me on my journey. I am going to say my number one mentor is my mother- she has taught me so much wisdom and knowledge about life that I am so grateful to have learned from her. She truly knows EVERYTHING. Another really important teacher in my life has been Alessandro Gianetti of Guided Light Healing, where I have learned so many energy healing tools and practices, which have helped me tremendously in my life. Another teacher that has been a huge part of my growth is Tej for introducing me and teaching me kundalini yoga. I am also grateful for Ana Netanel for inspiring me to dive deeper into sound healing. I am thankful to all of my healer friends who have encouraged and supported my journey thus far- some of them are Karen Piiranen, Julie Mullins and many others. I truly appreciate my friend Sandy for always inspiring me and pushing me to grow. I am also thankful for all the incredible artists and collaborators that have been a part of the Etherica Team and are part of the same vision- Bianca, Brandon, Sanet, Kim, James and many others. I am also really appreciative of all the studios and venues that I have collaborated with- Kundalini Yoga by the Sea, AZIAM Yoga, Aura Yoga and Wisdome LA and all of the amazing people that have created these healing spaces. Most recently we have collaborated with the Ignite Festival and the Flow Tribe which has been organizing outdoor events.
