We had the good fortune of connecting with Leshon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leshon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The start of my “business” really came from my surrounding company encouraging me to pursue the avenues that they see my potential in.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love art overall, I love the different perspectives and what makes everyone unique and individualized. I love to see other peoples angles on life and how it differs from mine, and even adopt some of their viewpoints upon myself if I admire them. Art is so beautiful and extremely vast and I believe I just bring my perspective and care for art overall into the world. The creativity in my head and my process of thinking and how open ended many of my interpretations are, is something I love to share with the world. But also being relatable and reaching others personally who feel or see things similarly.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, if it’s any of my close friends I’m for sure going to bring them to the office and show them around the spot and create a dope song/beat with them! I’ll also most likely take them to downtown Sacramento! All the bars, clubs, food places, and stores are mainly down there and it’s just an overall “city” vibe! Depending on the time of the year, I may also take them out to the state fair and watch all the mayhem unravel!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Frank ocean and my mother. They have both influenced me largely in the way I live my life, but in many different ways! A lot can be said about both of them in so much more depth, but to keep it short I’ll just say this. I wouldn’t be who I am today without these two people.
