We had the good fortune of connecting with Denise Cesare and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Denise, how does your business help the community?
I believe we are achieving our goals, but it is important that we continue learning and developing new goals for ourselves. These next steps are building strong relationships and giving back to our community. Our current initiative is called the Love Ambassadors. For both T SUIT and Moments, we want to share our ideals of empowerment and mindfulness through those we directly impact.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Author Biography: Denise Cesare Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Denise Cesare is a wife, mom, educator and entrepreneur. Denise has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist and Special Education Specialist for over 25 years earning two master degrees. In 2006, Denise lost her voice due to a condition called Spasmodic Dysphonia from a major car accident. Through treatment and a whole lot of faith, she has been able to regain her voice. Since this time, much has come to surface for her about the meaning of life, the importance of being present, the gift every moment offers, and the power love has to heal. As a life long learner, she understands the needs of her students. She quickly recognized that many children were not coping well with the experience of being quarantined in a pandemic, and many craved guidance during this very confusing time. While working daily with them, her book Moments in Motion with Love poured out of her. This book illustrates the beauty of every moment, celebrates our children, and brings forth their significant connection to our planet. It is a book to start a conversation with parents and educators to heal the stress that our children are feeling. Denise loves being an educator and entrepreneur and now author to her First Children’s Book Moments in Motion with Love! She also loves music, yoga, cooking and traveling with her family. She currently resides in Staten Island, NY with her husband Dan of 25 years and has an amazing son, Daniel, in his senior year of college.

Moments in Motion with Love illustrates the beauty of every moment and celebrates our children by bringing forth their significant connection to our planet. Written by a speech pathologist after seeing the impact the pandemic has had on her students, this is a book designed for parents, caretakers, and educators to start a conversation, and help heal the stress that our children are feeling during this very confusing time in their lives. Every page will remind children how precious and loved they are!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am from New York, so there are many amazing things to do in the greatest City. Love that Broadway is back, we would catch a show or a few, Aladdin and Waitress, oh wait Harry Potter too!!  A foodie’s dream come true, pizza, pasta, and sweet treats.. Let’s not forget to check out NYC Murray’s bagels, Katz’s famous deli for the best pastrami sandwich and Brooklyn’s original Junior’s cheesecake. Visit my favorites: the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History. Finish the week with a walk in Central Park.
