We had the good fortune of connecting with Pendrick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pendrick, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks has really been the difference between success and failure for me . I honestly rather not refer to it as taking a risk, I would say “taking a leap of faith” and to explain how impactful it is for me , I always weigh out risk vs reward. and often times if the reward is worth it ill take the leap without fear and allow intuition to guide me. Moving out of your hometown , risk/Leap of faith.
Quitting your job for your dream. Leap of faith.
Going completely all in on plan a with no thought of a plan B.
all leaps of faith that seemed risky to those without vision . or perspective , but seemed necessary for those who are determined

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a Songwriter. what makes me unique is I am a mix of engineer, melodies, and a therapist. think of me as a music coach. If you wake up one day and have talent , but dont know where to go from there, im the person that can help you write songs, record them, make you sound like you’ve been recording for years, all while performing lyrics that show the world who YOU are. I love that . The biggest challenge is, there’s no structure in the music industry so a lot of times you work really hard for barely any money until you get a big break . and there’s no guarantee you’ll get a break unfortunately .

Along the way ive learned so much about faith . Discipline. and how much I lack of both even with daily effort. lol .but ive learned to stay self aware and enjoy the process along the way . because faith is about not having the slightest worry . and thats also what I want the world to know about. my brand. stay focused and work harder everyones talented.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
ok fasho , so I gotta take em on the classic Hollywood stars mansion tour first, just to get some history and acclamated to the city and inspired by the possibilities. Then we going down sunset , Fairfax to see some culture. Gotta grab some food at Castaway, because its all about the vibes. Quick Lake Hollywood (“Hollywood sign flex”) And then its not an LA Trip without a beach visit. PCH is a easy WIN and we gone have a GREAT day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Working with the Exclusives (Sean pen x Ralph J) was really a hands on introduction to good people in the music industry , and really the industry as a whole. The mentorship they provided really showed me a way to move and also make money as a creative in the entertainment industry. Theres no rule book or guideline to the music industry so being able to communicate with more experienced creators is basically priceless. So I would shout out to the Exclusives in Atl by way of Miami. im doing my best to keep the mentoring going and maintaining a respectful name in the process 💯
