We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy` Orona and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy`, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I have been really taking more chances than ever before. Im ready to step into that next chapter.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have an extensive backgound in the Beauy Industry specifically in management. For the past 18 years, I have worked in many medical spas all over orange county. I also worked for Sephora as a Senior Educator in charge of teaching the team product knowdge specifically regarding ingredients. Since starting my esthetic career in 2004, I have always worked on my side business as a makeup artist/estehtician/body sculptor and facepainter. It wasnt until the pandeminc hit and the way work life had dramatically changed, that I knew I had to do something different. That was when I stopped being a scared little girl and faced my fear of going full time 100% on my own. It was scarry, but has been so freeing. The challenge was I did it in the middle of the pandemic…so there was a time we were shut down for months, so then I had to go work for someone else again. Once things started opening up again and people were coming out, then I went and opened up my room again. So here I am and now. I just need more help with advertising. I’ve learned ALOT along the way and I realize the potential I have in becomming really successful at this. I am looking to network with good solid people and create that professional circle of referrals.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in one of the most amazing places on the planet earth. San Clemente. We would walk to the pier for a morning jog, get breakfast at Calypso Cafe. By noon ,we would be taking a nap on the sand, followed by a quick dip in the water. We would walk back up to my pad for a lil relaxing lunch on the patio, then take an afternoon cruise down the coast to oceanside then later on in the week, go to San Diego to see Sea World and Coronado bay for a little jet ski fun.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Kealoha Akiona. @miss_kea808 She started making my organic face soaps and toners and lip balms. She started her business just recently making these items for independent estheticians. The ingredients are the highest quality, organic and food grade. Clients are looking for holistic skincare and she just knows how to make the customer happy with the best quality ingredients.
