Meet Ana Nieto | Transformational Health Mentor and Coach.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Nieto and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana, how do you think about risk?
Risk is an interesting word as most people think of it as dangerous and try to stay as far as possible from it as they can. For me risk means following your desire, your life force and having the willingness to put your self in not so comfortable situations when you know your intuition guidance is telling you that is the way to go.
It is following the joy as supposed to staying in the comfort.
From moving from Spain to New York following a passion to deciding to establish myself in San Diego in later years, all these decisions where taking from a place of desire and joy and of course, feeling those butterflies in the stomach but knowing that it was the path for me in life.
The latest example was very recent when I partnered with a friend and college of mine to create our first retreat in Mexico with the result of it being one of the most fulfilling experiences personally, professionally and spiritually in my life. The results in the attendees were visible after 5 days where their radiance and joy increased exponentially and the found new and more exciting ways of being.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One of the passions that drives me is the message I received back in 2012 of “building sustainable communities around the world”. I didn’t know what it meant then and have experienced over the years that intentional communities are developing more and more in recent years as a way for people to create a society that is built in the concepts of intimate community, health, creativity and shared values and visions.
As part of this mission, our Mindful Online Gym foundation and values are of love, peace and connection and we strive to share these values with every client we touch which nowadays is all around the world.
Our ultimate goal is to facilitate a process where people can feel the strongest and most connected they can be in their physical body so they can connect stronger with their spirit. This is not just important for your health, but for your happiness and the health and happiness of the planet.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am blessed to live in La Jolla, something I promise to myself it will happen the first time I visited and that I am grateful for everyday of my life.
There are so many beautiful spots I would take someone for a first time visit walking distance from my place:
I love La Valencia for an outdoor patio lunch or dinner overlooking at the Ocean.
Just walking around town and exploring the little galleries, cafes and beautiful stores is a fun and entertaining experience.
A beach walk at Windandsea at sunset is one of the most beautiful spots I have seen in my life.
A visit to the La Jolla open air farmers market on Sunday needs to also be on the books while visiting the area.
Outside of La Jolla, I will take a drive up the coast to Encinitas, another beautiful and more sleepy beach town, passing by Del Mar, which I also love, Solana Beach and Cardiff.
Downtown I like walking around little Italy where there are also delicious restaurants, one of my favorites is Ironside.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
