We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Medina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nick, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency And patience. Being in this business you have to learn both, Without them you’ll never see growth. You’ll have good days and bad days but you always need to be patient and know that its not the end of the world when business is slow and keep pushing getting you name and work out there. Always creating and pushing out what you’re selling.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run a music video production company (Hot Spit) in LA. What im most proud of is the artists ive beeb able to work with in less than 2 years shooting videos and directing. One thing im excited about is, In the upcoming months i will be releasing multiple Interview/ Documentaries with well known LA/IE artists. Its a project ive been working on for a while and something new to bring to the table rather thab just music videos. At the end of the day, I want hot spit to become a misic platform for artists to showcase who they are (Interviews) and music they make. I wont stop till it happens. Ive made a name for myself and my work in less than 1 year. I know i can make hot spit into a platform. No matter how crazy it sounds. Its only crazy till it happens.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Im not vegan but forsure Montys! It taste so good. If we’re talking about a week trip, we forsure hitting up santa monica pier enjoy some game, 2nd street in long beach for some drink. Noho for some street tacos. Amusement parks. Im a big fan of amusement parks!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There isnt anyone in particular, however I would shoutout all the artists ive worked with. They didnt help me directly but with their action. Being in the studio with them showed me their drive to make it to the too. They were always consistent with putting out music and recording. It showed me to be the same way with my craft. Never to give up and always be ambitious about my next project.
