We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina (Bre) Holguin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrina (Bre), putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
For me, that decision is to keep taking inspired action towards my goals…..no matter what. Rest when needed of course, but keep things moving forward.. Notice that I said INSPIRED action. Don’t just do things for the sake of being busy. Get yourself in a quiet/meditative state and listen for your next move. It takes practice and commitment. If I can do it, so can you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The best part about my craft is the people I get to touch. I LOVE people and building long lasting relationships. Without each and every one of my guests I would not be where I am today professionally. Being a small business owner has many challenges. How I overcome them is to remind myself that challenges are always happening for me and ALWAYS present an opportunity for growth.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a nature lover so naturally, I think my best friend would be too haha! I’d take them to the beach, out for early morning hikes, camping, people watching while doing all the ‘tourist-y things’ (city walk, walk of fame, art walks, farmer’s markets, cool coffee shops, so many fun things to do here!)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to my mom.. She has taught me how to tap into that inner strength we all have but forget about sometimes. She is a walking talking example of being unstoppable, committed, and fearless.
