Meet Delawness | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Delawness and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Delawness, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The majority of the credit for the success of my brand is due to the uncountable hours of hard work, sleepless nights and commitment that I put into the development of my brand. I have a mindset that is intensely focused on achieving goals, and I organize my work in such a way that I can cross off completed items on a daily basis. This is done with the end goal in mind of being able to successfully proceed to the next stage of my work as an artist.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’d say that my art fits under modern and abstract.  My one-of-a-kind outlook on the transformation of the events in my life into art differentiates me from others working in the music industry. My next song, which will be released soon and is titled FALL and will be the second single from my forthcoming capsule, it is the source of a great deal of pride and excitement for me. The never-ending process of trial and error that an artist must endure served as the inspiration for FALL. As I continue to put in as much effort as I can, yet it may feel like a cycle of constant success and failure.

I wanted to convey the importance of maintaining a positive attitude even in the most difficult of circumstances. For the most part, I’ve always been interested in communicating my ideas and feelings via music. Ever since I was a kid and got my hands on my first toy piano, I’ve always had a strong interest in music. Music has allowed me to explore my environment in greater detail, despite the fact that I would normally communicate my views through my visual pieces or poems. In addition, I was able to generate excellent work by working together with a number of the most talented creatives from all around the world. It wasn’t easy for me to get to where I am now; however, after experiencing some depression and anxiety I’ve come to develop a lot of meditation exercises, praying being patient, and giving myself time to grow, I was able to triumph over the obstacles that I faced as an artist. Along the road, I’ve realized that maintaining my mental health is essential to my success, which means that if your mental health isn’t in good shape, it may have a significant impact on many aspects of your life. I want everyone in the world to be aware that I am a force to be reckoned with and I have big dreams that I want to accomplish.  I would like to use my work to inspire marginalized youth and connect with them and reassure them that there will always be better days ahead regardless of their circumstances. It’s not about where you are now, it’s about where you are going.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In Montego Bay, we would visit places like Harmony Beach Park, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Coral Cliff, Pelican Grill, and Doctor’s Cave beach.

I would like to thank God, my mother and my dedicated my supporters.
