Meet Sandy Bueno | Professional Event Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandy Bueno and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sandy, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
The habits that I have developed to help me succeed was to finish what I start, consistency and programming myself. I’ve never started something I knew I couldn’t finish. Besides my failed horrible past relationships. Lol.
I think taking risks knowing there will be good and bad days, silent weeks and booked weeks was a risk I wasn’t afraid to take.
Developing a monthly goal for myself, organizing myself, and knowing I had to constantly advertise and stick to the photography and event trend as it evolves was something I am adaptive to.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Buenofamily Photography is different from others because first, our name…says it all. We are a couple and 4 kids. Our family of 6 have all participated in this business from the very beginning and were only growing.
What sets us apart from other competitors is our ability to adapt to all families that we photograph. We become family to them. My brides and their special people know they can count on me during the whole wedding day. Same for my husband, the grooms and their peeps love my husbands way of hyping everyone up, pumping up the groomsmen and getting the party lit.
We consider ourselves a very energetic and fun experience when hiring us. It’s an experience definitely!
I am proud of us!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Personally, The most awesome areas locally for me would be downtown riverside for its beautiful architectural buildings and its center tourist mission, The Mission Inn. As well as The First Congregational Church which is a historic architectural beauty! And of course all the eateries around town.
Also, can’t forget Temecula. Those fields and wineries are just breath taking!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout out to my husband Alan Bueno and my kids. Alan has motivated me and encouraged me to never stop even when I feel like I want to throw in that towel. My kids have seen my good, bad, and most horrible days. There have been times of guilt when I have to work and leave them behind and they re-assure me that mom is doing this for them.
I’m shouting them out because not only have they cheered me on to keep pushing but they have joined me in my business. My husband and my children have joined being my second shooters, my lighting assistants, event robots, etc.
