We had the good fortune of connecting with Radiant Reveries and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Radiant, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Collaboration and perseverance ! Throughout our time as musicians , and once Radiant Reveries was established , we always have collaborated with other musicians and creatives. As music lends itself to movies, art, life and almost everything in between, we always kept an open mind to how the band was shaped and accepted that the shape will change, just as life, change is the constant.
The heart and sound in it’s core remains the same.

Second is perseverance , letting success be the consequence of our work, rather than chasing it.
To keep going, even when you hit a low, is the most important. A lot of people “give up” when the success doesn’t happen as quickly as THEY desire. To not fall into that trap, you got to have perseverance and a clear vision, keep going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are husband and wife, art and music collaborators, Karolina and Adam of Radiant Reveries. Our journey has been lengthy, we have 2 albums out and the next EP on the way to be released this Year.
We got our own vintage Rock’n’Roll sound, that s truly is our own, with both of us writing and singing, as well as playing guitar and Karolina plays percussions as well.
We got to where we are now through the joy of making music, the joy of collaborating and the perseverance, that you can only have if you truly believe in what you do.
It’s never been easy, the music is, but breaking through to get heard and seen by more people around the world has been a challenge, we are still working on. All we really want is to have our music out in the world to be heard, so people can find comfort, joy and most possibly feel not alone. With every single and album, we are getting closer to that, excited for more soon.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love to seek inspiration in nature, hikes in Griffith that are a little more off the beaten path, to beach hangs up in Malibu are our jam. We also love Zebulon as a music/ hang out venue and the Food in Thai Town is by far the best, check out Jitlada.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We like to dedicate and bring attention to our visual collaborators. We ourselves are Artist in our own right, Adam does fine art Photography on film and also has directed music videos for other musicians, whereas Karolina has art directed music videos and currently art projects with other artist, as well as is a portrait photographer . Saying all that, it is a whole other ball game to make the Visuals for your own music when you, yourself ,are the subject.
We love picking our directors and music / album art photographs by energy, vision, and of course , their specific talent and eye.

Our newest Music Video for our Single “Beyond The Dream” of our full length Album “Let Go” was created by Los Angeles local Celine Comolet. We have known her since back in the day in New York, she came out of NYU film school and made her move to LA way before us. So once we got to LA we touched base and made our first music video with her for “Where is my skin”, also on “Let Go”.
Then, almost 2 years later, we had collaborated with international photographer Bailey Rebecca Roberts on the Single Art work in the Santa Monica Mountains, but did not get to do the music video with her.
We felt so inspired by the majestic nature of the golden fields and the mountains as well as the tree and the contrast of the blue skye, that we then talked to Celine Comolet if she was up for filming the video with us there, based on the single art work, and with the blessing from Bailey.
She agreed and then the lengthy planning started, from weather changing the landscape ( the grass changed colors with the seasons, so it wouldn’t have matched) and schedules kept changing, till we finally got to shoot last fall, literally right before all the rains came down and changed the landscape again….
We are thrilled of the result. It’s a storybook fairytale -esq video that transports the viewer into a whole different world, the camera spinning around, up and down, as above so below, plays with the viewers perception of the land and us and the Tree as characters.
“If you want to stay, then stay, but if you want to go, then go – But if you go” sings Adam in the song and reverses the lines later in the song and so we took the liberty in portraying the emotional journey of making a choice and sticking to it , to finally get to the place that is “Beyond The Dream” you have to fully commit.
“Reshape – Disintegrate – Reshape – Disintegrate -….”
Have a watch and “step into another place , step into another space” !
