We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The most important decision I’ve ever made was to trust the process and trust God.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an Actor who enjoys the process of becoming. It is a very unique circumstance. In a way, you are raising a character… from within. It’s like a birth, and a a re-birth… in a way; or like shedding a skin, and becoming new…. after that shed or “re-birth”, you are constantly peeling back layers  of that “newest” version. It can become a bit complexed.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would take them first for brunch at “Eat This Cafe!!” We would have amazing pancakes, or French Toast, with potatoes, and an omelette, sip unlimited mimosas, then head up to Malibu’s “Zuma beach”. After that, we’d eat pizza! “Liddo’s pizza” in “The Valley”. We would go hiking, and maybe get massages after. bowling at night, or a rooftop movie.

At some point, we would drive to sequoia national parks “Lake Hume” to kyak, and ground ourselves amongst the gigantic Sequoia Trees. We would pitch a tent, and eat s’mores at night while we listen to jazz,R&B, maybe an audio book ha!; and sip wine. we would stargaze around 3am, and if its not too hot, visit Death Valley.

A dodgers, or lakers game would be nice. Fishing at Big Bear.

Gelato ice cream! Cheesecake! Maybe a Hot Air Balloon ride.

Travel up to San Fransisco to see the “Painted Ladies”.

I can’t give away all my gems!!!……just have to come along and see!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my mother, father, sisters, friends, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. They all pray for me, and care about my success in whatever I pursue. They have helped me in many ways. I have a few mentors…though maybe not in the most traditionally recognizable way. Over the years, Ive found that mentors can be found in books!  Books offer access to mentors who are no longer with us; and so, I find myself often revisiting books by James Allen, Myles Munroe, Paulo Coelho, Napoleon Hill, Konstantin Stanislavski, Stella Adler to name a few.
