We had the good fortune of connecting with Ami Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ami, what’s your definition for success?

I define success as being truly proud of yourself. For me personally, just reflecting on what I’ve been through and how far I’ve come. I think about the obstacles and tests I’ve passed. How much I have grown mentally and emotionally. How I can look in the mirror and be proud and be able to sleep at night knowing I am a woman of dignity and respect. The fact that I work hard for everything I have. How my family is proud of me and the fact that I am a good person. I am a person of light. I actually help and inspire people. My legacy is filled with highs.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I wear many hats. I’m a music artist, actress, songwriter, model and entrepreneur. I started my company Ouch Girl Entertainment and am very proud of that. I’m on set a lot doing commercials, movies, music videos, model for brands and more.

Musically, I write all my own lyrics and I love to freestyle. I also write for others.

As far as lessons, I’ve learned to always trust yourself and believe in yourself. There are enough naysayers and people out there who don’t believe in you. I’ve learned that everything always works out for those that have faith and keep pushing. You can only fail if you give up! I’ve learned that I am worthy of love and respect and this reflects in my business choices as well. I am proud that my fans love and respect me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

We’d go to WEHO for sure to hang out, have fun, turn up. Also, Santa Monica, the beaches are nice. I like the Sunset Strip. I love Gracias Madre, it’s a vegan spot with bomb Mexican food. I would take them through Hollywood of course and through the hills.

We can hit up the fashion district and the mall for shopping. A nice rooftop restaurant would be a vibe. Of course a hike would be on the list. There’s alot to do so I would definitely be open to freestylin it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I have to Shoutout to God, my Lord and Savior. And my angels. Also my family, my mother, all my supporters, fans, my business team and friends.
