Meet Patricia Chica | Award-Winning Filmmaker, Chi Energy Educator and Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricia Chica and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Patricia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success has been my integration of Chi Energy awareness within my art and creative process. Not only do I implement it in my companies’ culture at Flirt Films and ChicArt World but I also coach actors, creatives, celebrities and industry professionals to do the same. With state-of-the-art techniques that bridge Chi and mindset strategies, I coach clients to elevate their impact both behind and in front of the camera. My approach sets new standards in the film industry as it simplifies metaphysical concepts, providing accessible techniques to expand creativity, communication skills, and intuition. As a clairvoyant and clairsentient, I design a rigorous training program that harnesses intuition, energy awareness, and mindfulness, to eliminate blocks in the nervous system and subconscious mind. Through accountability follow-ups, outcomes surpass expectations. The stretch occurs at the core level, addressing inner and outer energy balance that accelerates desired RESULTS.
Since the release of my feature film MONTRÉAL GIRLS, where audiences witnessed the profound impact of my coaching, I have been humbled by the increasing demand for my services. Through heartfelt recommendations and generous media coverage, my reputation has gradually spread. Guiding a new, untrained actor through a year-long program I carefully crafted, I witnessed his incredible growth—a performance brimming with empowerment, authenticity, and self-assurance. This transformative journey extended beyond the lead actor, touching the cast and crew, whom I also trained with my method. For those interested, I have shared the coaching process in a documentary available on my Vimeo channel: https://vimeo.com/666568536.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m an acclaimed filmmaker, chi energy educator, and celebrity coach. I’m dedicated to a mission in the film/TV and entertainment industry, which is to bring chi energy awareness to the process of storytelling in order to inspire and empower audiences worldwide through cinema. My aim is to harmoniously blend storytelling, higher consciousness, and performance, forging a transformative path for actors, cast and crew within the film industry.
As a director and coach, I have had the privilege of empowering numerous actors, celebrities, and industry professionals, but getting to where I am now, wasn’t easy. I had to prove that my method truly brought results. there were lots of skeptical people questioning my process.
People started taking notice of my conclusive results, after the release of my short film MORNING AFTER, where I use the Chi Energy method in every department of the filmmaking process.
Through personalized training, global Chi Energy workshops, compelling workshops at film festivals and academic institutions, as well as various online platforms, I have been able to guide individuals on the art of harnessing the immense power residing within their minds, bodies, and spirits.
By employing simple energy techniques accessible to all, we can unlock heightened creativity, transcend limiting beliefs, and expedite the manifestation of desired outcomes. Recently, my groundbreaking directorial debut, MONTRÉAL GIRLS, has garnered significant attention.
Notably, both the cast and crew received my expert coaching, setting new standards and practices within the ever-evolving landscape of the film industry. This achievement has been mentioned by the Los Angeles Times and other significant media outlets, solidifying the credibility of my work.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I moved to Beachwood Canyon in 2014 because it was my favorite neighborhood in Los Angeles. I have never looked back. When I want to soak up the lively atmosphere and maybe even rub shoulders with some film industry folks or catch a glimpse of a celebrity, I head straight to Franklin Village. There’s something truly inspiring about this bustling short strip, with its famous restaurant bars like Birds Hollywood and La Poubelle. But it’s not all about the glitz and glamour.
One of my favorite things to do is explore the Hollywood Hills, specifically Beachwood Canyon or Bronson Canyon. The trails and hidden staircases out there are simply incredible, and they offer unique angles to admire the iconic Hollywood sign.
After a day of activities, including visiting the Hollywood Reservoir, I love to unwind at the Beachwood Café, indulging in their mouthwatering food and refreshing drinks. And let me tell you, their basil lemonade is an absolute winner in my book!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shout-out to my esteemed mentor, now producing partner Byron A Martin. About 12 years ago, Byron took me under his wing and was really generous with his time with me, providing access, information, education, and opportunities. I was really curious and eager to learn and to give my time to him to collaborate on his projects and that is where our collaboration really blossomed. Now he and I are friends and producing partners. Byron then produced with me 4 of my films. We develop projects together now that I’m more experienced. We are great work colleagues at the same level of partnership. Learning from him is what makes me the producer I am today and I would forever be grateful to him. He deserves a lot of credit.
