We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Hart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I have a vision of people standing out equally with vibrancy of expression. When I say “standing out equally” I mean people are tapped into their authenticity so deeply that they are living their truth. There is no such thing as being “too much” or “too little”, it just is. We see so many people living a life in the “should”. Should look like this. Should dress like that. Should act and talk like xyz. We have so much conditioning around the idea of “who we are” to the point we can’t even introduce ourselves without using our name, age, race, occupation etc. These are part of us but not who we are at our essence. Style gets to be this tool where you reflect the intangible part of who you are into the tangible by mirroring your energy into your clothes. That’s when you feel seen and represented.
I like to believe that my business inspires people to honor their authenticity and truth. And style is one tool that they get to embrace the being of who they are. It is an extension of us. When we get to tap into our own magnetism and operate from the fullness of who we are, we get to inspire one another. This creates a vibrancy of expression. I am here to spread inspiration. My way of serving people is by having people shift their relationship with self and their expression by seeing it being reflected by everyday using style as an outlet.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business offers personal styling that takes a spiritual, holistic and energetic approach. Wearing clothes isn’t the magical part. You are the magic. Style gets to be a tool where you amplify your own magic and energy. I like to use the Harry Potter Wand example. Harry Potter needs to find a wand that’s a perfect match to his energy, and that wand becomes the amplifier where it amplifies his magic and power. In this example, you are Harry Potter and your clothes are the wand. When you find clothes that mirror and reflect your unique energy, that’s when you hit the mark to tap into your magnetism. Have you ever experienced saying to yourself “WOW I look so good!” when you got ready for a night out or to an event? That’s because you were able to tap into your unique magnetism.

Our vision is to have your wardrobe feel like your morning cup of coffee where it energizes you from within. Where you get to create more opportunities for you to go to events, meet up with friends/family and do things you were putting off doing because you had “nothing to wear”.
Your clothes can shift your mood, productivity, thoughts, and emotions so why not use it to your advantage? This is how we approach personal styling.

I was able to create offers that valued my own values which are self-discovery, self-expression, mindset, spirituality, energy, self-acceptance and beauty. I finally realized as I got mentored and supported through the refinement process of my business, that I only honored part of my values in my styling business such as beauty and self-expression, but ignored other parts. In the last 6 months, I refined and shifted my business to where it met by values. It was not an easy process to be vulnerable with myself and to be honest with myself that I wanted to do more. I learned that I always get to honor every part of my values and that’s why when you work with me in any of my offers, you won’t just get a “done for you” service, but rather experiencing self-discovery & self-acceptance in the process.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I like to have later mornings so I will probably take a friend to a brunch. One of my favorite spots is called “Guerrilla Cafecito” which has the best breakfast burrito in my opinion! I would also take them to go watch a movie but at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema with their comfy chairs.

Of course if you’re with me, we’re going shopping so you can expect to go to at least one thrift store.
We will get some ice cream especially during summer during the day to help us survive the heat.

In the evening, we will go to the beach to watch the sunset as we eat dinner and call it a night.

During the weekend, I would like to stop by a flea market and pop up shops. I will also do some research on what sample sales are available as well. I may not shop all the time but love just to window shop and see what is available this season.
