Meet JSquared Photography | Creative Team

We had the good fortune of connecting with JSquared Photography and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi JSquared, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The single most imprtant decision that we made was to team up, combine gear and start shooting as much as possible. Working together and owning our own gear gave us an incredible amount of freedom at a time when we were looking to make connections and build our portolio.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
A couple things that we feel set us apart are our lighting skills, our work ethic and and our ability to meet our clients needs. All these things took time to develop. The most imprtant thing is to get out and start doing it. We have had many challenges along the way, but due to the amout of time that we have put into our craft we are at a point where we know we can handle any challenges that come our way. If we were to define our brand, we would have to say we are two down to earth guys that love what they do, are easy to work with and talented enough to deliver on any project.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone was coming to visit LA our top four spots to hit would be: 1-Ye Old Rustic Tavern Los Feliz. Classic dive bar in a great part of town.
2-Club Tee Gee in Atwater Village. Great place to grab a drink.
3-Don Cuccos in Burbank. Classic Mexican joint!
4-Concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Cant beat a night at the Bowl!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
