Meet Nathaly Sánchez | Graphic Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathaly Sánchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathaly, what makes you happy? Why?
For as long as I can remember, for me art and everything related to design, crafts, photography, fashion and the arts make me happy, it’s something important to me, I like to read, learn more about those topics, go to galleries and museums, having the opportunity to work as an artist and create my own brand of design, where I can learn more about myself and express what I like and dislike through my artwork.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I studied graphic design, and when I saw that art and design have a great connection, it was something new for me at the time. So I started learning more about art history, reading about some artists and everything related to art, and I started thinking and working around art.
I always like to draw and paint, I like to make my works of art thinking about the color palette that I am going to use, because for me color is one of my main tools, that’s why I start any design or sketch inspired by color. abstract shapes are another tool.
So my paintings are colorful and abstract, color and design.
When I started working and creating my brand “lagallery.art”, I didn’t think I needed to learn many things and work on it, but with time and this process as a graphic artist and entrepreneur I realized that it can be done other things related to your career and passion, and always believe in your talent.
With “lagallery.art” I have many challenges, I work every day to achieve it, it’s a long process but I love it.
I would like to present an artwork, where the people feel a connection with the color, and the different sensations that it can generate in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I like to travel, it’s something nice that you have to do in your life, I like to visit cities, walk the streets, visit the main parks, listen to the noise and see the traffic, see the museums and galleries, walk through the neighborhoods. and get to know the culture. try new foods.

I would like to dedicate and say thanks to my family, for the support that they give me, and for believing in my dreams and talent.
