We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Peplinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think taking calculated risk is pertinent to having a happy, abundant, stimulating life. It’s what brought me here. It encouraged me to jump when stopped for acting. It prompted me to jump from an IT Consultant to CEO. That jump was one I wasn’t interested In until I spoke to several professionals who said I’d have more time for my acting career and less stress. They were right!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love acting. I’ve been training on and off for 15 years. It’s important to train with coaches that you really connect with. It took a long time but I’ve found my “home;” an acting studio that I really feel aligned with and also am thrilled to share I also privately train with Larry Moss.

I believe work ethic is one of the most important components to success. It’s ok to hit pause but you must get back up and get back into the game.

In the last few years I learned the importance of protecting your peace and health. I dealt with major health issues and now I keep myself distanced from stressful people and situations and take my health seriously. Making space for exercise, meal planning and solitude is necessary. I love to write, pray, meditate, walk and practice yoga.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles is such a fun place. There are so many great places to visit. There’s fantastic places to hike. You can plan a brunch in Hollywood right around the corner from Pantages Theatre where there’s always a great show. I love stand up comedy and there’s several venues you can buy tickets from with some of the best comedians out there. There’s yoga studios on almost every corner. You have to try a class.

We have some of the most delicious restaurants. Mastro’s in Malibu is right on the water and the food is as amazing as the views. NOBU in West Hollywood and Kiwami in Studio City both have amazing sushi. Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills has incredible Italian food.

The Hollywood Bowl is one of my favorite places to go. Every 4th of July I go with my friend for fireworks and the show. I attend several shows at the Bowl each season. In fact, I bought tickets for Mariah Carey’s Christmas show today!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My grandmother is my world. She’s in the next life now but I still think of her everyday and can hear her voice throughout my day. I know what unconditional love is because of her. I love to pray because of her. When I was little I’d sit and hold her hand and we would watch a show called “Marilyn and Sarah.” They would go all over the world helping people. She would squeeze my hand and say “ Nic we’re gonna do that! We’re going to be on tv and go all over the world and help people.”

We also watched soaps together. When I booked my first under 5 role on General Hospital I whispered we’re doing it Gram,
