We had the good fortune of connecting with Isa Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have many businesses and the thought processes for all of them included revenue, lifestyle and success but the core value under all my endeavors is betterment. Whether that be through enjoyment that comes with an experience at one of my Airbnbs, a positive lifestyle shift through my coaching programs or visual/auditory inspiration through my modeling and podcasting. I want to inspire, improve and constructively collaborate with the lives of those who interact in my ethos.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Life has had many iterations for me, I lived in Europe for a while and then Hawaii for almost 5 years, throughout I maintained and observed adaptation and perspective to be keys in quality of life and daily success. Sticking to those operating systems when faced with challenges has helped me get where I am today personally, professionally and creatively. My most recent co-creative endeavor with my sister, The Ripple Affect podcast, is a comprehensive exploration into change. In order to change the world we explore the capacity of individual change to affect the larger collective. The intention is to make all our own work of self-development and betterment available to a broader audience. We share our learnings and perspectives as well as dive into the science, spirituality and motivation behind change. This is our way to share and contribute.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m new to LA so if you want to be my new best friend and take me somewhere amazing to have the best time ever reach out! All joking aside I will be reading this section of other peoples interviews to gain some insight into fun, interesting, exciting things to do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to shout out my sister, Chiara Maya, she has supported every endeavor I have ever gone after offering insight, inspiration, love and encouragement. She is my co-host of our podcast, The Ripple Affect, and is just brilliant! Beyond that I am a big fan of support groups, shout out Alanon, ACA, and CODA. And I would be remiss not to give a big shout out to the one and only Mother Nature, could not have done it without her!
