I want to be known for having made brilliant paintings. Paintings with depth, beauty, and impact that hits you in your chest the moment you walk in a room. I want to be known for having lived a happy, if not a little renegade path, forging my way raising my kid on my own, striking a balance living joyfully while making work at a top level. I want my legacy to help finally eradicate that bygone era of the toxic male dysfunctional self-destructive misery breading the “best artist”. It sounds so simple, but I truly want to help people. I want to be remembered by someone who understood with her whole heart or even if she couldn’t understand because it wasn’t her personal truth, she still was there and listened with intention. As someone who grew up feeling different through all sorts of experiences, like growing up with a super sensitive body/system, experiencing allergies and intolerances at a very early age, always questioning everything and noticing things in the world around her that others didn’t on a very intuitive level, and someone always striving for more, and not being understood in that, being questioned, called to sensitive, too weak for this world – I strive to create space for humans like me, creating space to live life on our own terms and actually having the ability to become super successful, moving forward. I’d like my legacy to be woven with threads of inspiration and positive impact. I hope people remember me as someone who sparked curiosity, encouraged creativity, and spread a bit of joy along the way. Whether through words, actions, or shared moments, I aspire to leave behind a trail of inspiration that encourages others to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their passions.
