We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy John Zaide and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Timothy John, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
An inspiration more than a thought. The more I was exposed to different gyms, the more I saw how many people tend to be unseen. People who worked out consistently every day, displayed amazing discipline, and were willing to give what it takes to be in their best shape, are what got me inspired.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I served in the military for 5 years and that is when I actually started to take fitness seriously because I wanted to be in Physique competitions but my dream was cut short due to an accident that led me to get back surgery and have 2 metal plates on my back. It never stopped me from doing what I love most, which is working out, but it limited my capabilities in terms of being in competitions since my body would not be able to bear the stress when it comes to going below standard body fat percentages.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m not really very big on these things since I kept my lifestyle around the gym and home, but if there was a day that I have to make an itinerary it would be starting the day with a nice hike at the Malibu mountains followed by eating around the beach then have a chill/relaxing day hanging out at the beach.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For me it’s a general shoutout; A shoutout to everyone that gives it their all when no one is looking.
