We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Meadow Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle Meadow Love, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Trusting my intuition. I do not need to know the answers or how it will happen. I follow the energy and what feels best for me in each moment. My decisions are base on a knowing. My purpose is to be of service and that doesn’t have a one size fits all look. When I share what I love with an open heart, I am given opportunities to serve. Everything I need, shows up for me in divine timing. I have let go of worrying about the future and instead staying present and in alignment with my authenticity and integrity. It’s a practice in discernment and discipline.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am proud of creating a healing arts practice that is inclusive of the modalities that have supported my healing journey. My journey has not been easy. Being adopted has brought challenges with abandonment wounds, Lyme disease and co-infections brought my life to a screeching halt and forced me to allow others to help me. Filing for divorce, while sick with young children, tested my faith and resilience. Letting go of my career and false sense of security to be of service in other ways was not easy. Selling our home, downsizing and investing in myself and Be Well Healing didn’t make sense at the time and I knew it was what was needed to succeed. Everything that has once felt like an obstacle, was actually building a foundation for my life today. I have a choice in how I perceive what is happening and I continue to choose acceptance, even when I don’t like it. I am here to do things differently. And figure out what does and doesn’t work for me. Finding joy in the day to day and allowing myself to be me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ventura offers so many diverse things to do. I love taking walks to the beach, on the beach and promenade, in the hills, Botanic Gardens and around town. Some of my favorite places to eat and drink are Rumfish y Vino, Lure, Fluid State, Spencer McKenzies, Immigrant Son, Urbane Cafe and Beachhouse Tacos. Sunset views from the cross at Grant Park is a must see. The pier, when open, is another spot to catch awesome views. Day trips to the Channel Islands for hiking, a picnic and nature is always a favorite of mine. Cemetery Memorial Park is another excellent spot for ocean views, picnics and monthly Sunset Sound Bathes affiliated by me. The Ventura harbor has fun shops, yummy restaurants and activities for the whole family. And you can’t go wrong with the shops and restaurants in downtown and midtown Ventura as well. Most likely we would also drive north on the PCH to Santa Barbara and/or south to Malibu. Both are beautiful coastlines with incredible views.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am forever thankful to God. My faith has never let me down. And I am filled with gratitude for my daughters, who are my biggest teachers and inspirations to be the best version of myself.
