We had the good fortune of connecting with Marie Fiorin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marie, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
One of the most impactful habits that has been contributing and impacted my personal growth and career development is hands down journaling. I can get in my head pretty easily and it’s all spiraling down from there – regularly putting pen to paper is a practice that allows me to re-focus and re-center. Journaling is such a powerful tool for self-awareness, and for manifesting too. It has kept me grounded and focused on what truly matters, I highly recommend!
Whenever I catch myself overthinking, journaling provides an outlet for me to process these thoughts in a constructive manner. It helps me untangle everything that goes on in my mind and gain clarity on my emotions and fears. Same goes when I have a creative burst! Taking it all to my journal allows me to channel that energy effectively, I can organize my thoughts and ideas, and explore them more deeply later on, or discard them.
Through the practice of journaling, I’ve been able to navigate both personal and professional challenges more effectively, and I’m manifesting faster than ever – that’s why I wanted to share that with my friends and family and published my first 3 journals and planners on Amazon – The Manifesting Journal, The Best Life Yet Planner, and The Productive Not Busy Planner, and people have been loving them, it’s amazing.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my career as a fashion stylist in Milan, Italy and then hosted and produced shows for Fashion TV, Radio Monaco, Europe 1 and Made of Music. I then went back to the luxury market and worked extensively in the fine jewelry industry. I guess that what sets me apart is that my brand is the symbiotic result of two worlds, the luxury world, and the spiritual world – two worlds that are not usually combined.
Since a very young age, I was always drawn to the metaphysical, and I quickly realized that I had the power to manifest my desires into reality and that my thoughts would become real – so I decided to become a certified Law of Attraction coach. With this new sense of purpose, I used my background in fashion and design to create a series of beautifully designed journals, planners, and coloring books, that are not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing. I truly poured my heart and soul into creating transformative tools that would guide people on their own journey of self-discovery and personal growth, and help them manifest their dreams into reality.
Each book has been specifically designed to help people focus on their goals, dreams, and desires, and to take inspired action. The journals are filled with prompts and exercises so you can cultivate a positive mindset and attract abundance into your life, and the coloring books are so much fun.
What I love the most about The Manifesting Journal and Coloring Books series is that I was able to blend these two major aspects of my life: luxury, and spirituality. The latest coloring book “Manifest Jewelry in 50 Pages” is the perfect blend of that. The coloring book takes you on a journey of discovery – discovery where you can learn about the designers, the stones, the fine jewelry making process, and how you can use jewelry to manifest your dreams, and of course how you can manifest more of your favorite jewelry pieces. It was a lot of fun to create, and it’s even more fun to color.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A perfect Sunday in LA that I’d love to share with a friend from out of town would definitely start with the Melrose Place Farmers Market. We’d get an iced matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup at Alfred’s, and buy delicious berries and fruits, and beautiful flowers for the house. And then it’d be time for a hike, direction Runyon Canyon – next time you do Runyon take the path on the right that will lead you up the stairs, it’s the perfect little workout and the view is spectacular, you’ll get great pictures.
I’d probably take them for Brunch at Gracias Madre after that – I just love their jackfruit tacos so much!
Then we’d chill by the pool, shower and go for dinner at Laurel Hardware. Ask for a table outside, the patio is so whimsical. If you eat meat, order the bolognese pasta and the chicken wings (I know, random, but they make them with basil and parmigiano reggiano cheese and it will transform your life), and if you don’t eat meat, get the spaghetti arrabiata and chopped kale salad, it’s so freaking delicious.
Happy Sunday!
Also, for the best Pilates in class in town: go to Silver Springs on Melrose and take Olivia’s class, you’ll thank me later. And stop for an açaí bowl on the way back at Açaí Por Favor on 3rd and Crescent Heights, delish.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I truly believe that your mindset is primarily responsible for your success, in whatever area of life. So it feels only right to give a major shoutout to the Mindvalley program by Vishen Lakhiani. It’s such a cool community that gives you access to thousands of hours of cutting edge information and training that are so useful in helping you develop that growth mindset. I wish I had had a mentor as I really recognize the value of mentorship in showing the way, and enforcing accountability. Unfortunately it hasn’t been the case yet for me, I had to research and go through the process on my own, and a community like Mindvalley makes it so convenient and relevant, I highly recommend! Especially the Duality Program by Jeffrey Allen, which has been a game changer in the way I approach my day to day – I am more present, I attract more of the good stuff, and I feel so much more energized and productive.
