Hi Sanket, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My transition from architect to photographer signifies a significant change. While I spent years shaping buildings, a deeper desire stirred within me. Photography emerged as my refuge, sparking a passion beyond architectural confines. Each photo captured emotions, offering freedom to tell stories beyond blueprints. Despite responsibilities, I yearned for authenticity. With unwavering parental support, I ventured into uncertainty, anchored by their love. Now, a few years into the field, their belief and love still continue to guide me. My journey reflects the influence of love, the pursuit of passion, and the resilience of dreams. Their support remains my constant and the single most important factor, shaping my path and fueling my success.

I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the passionate Photographer and proud owner of Sanket Photography, committed to delivering exceptional photography and videography services. My standout trait lies in my effective communication style, enhancing my ability to capture nuanced expressions and weave captivating stories through imagery. As a photographer and storyteller, I believe in adding a unique dimension to my work.

A defining moment was being chosen to capture the essence of New York Fashion Week’s kick-off event in September 2023. Specializing in portraits and fine art, I’ve overcome challenges with resilience, propelling me to where I am today.

At Sanket Photography, we prioritize creating memorable experiences for every session. I focus on making subjects comfortable and capturing genuine emotions, drawing from personal experiences to add depth to my work. Despite initial fears and challenges, I’ve found fulfillment in pursuing my dreams and carving out a distinct style in the industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As soon as he lands in L.A., I’d whisk him away to Rajdhani in Artesia, a haven for foodies like us. The aroma of Indian spices and the mouthwatering cuisine there would set the perfect tone for our culinary adventure. The next day, we’d embark on a journey through art and culture at the Getty Museum, immersing ourselves in its grandeur and spending hours exploring its vast collection.
Midweek, we’d indulge in some luxury and glamour with a stroll down Rodeo Drive, followed by a leisurely meander through the iconic Hollywood Boulevard, where the magic of the silver screen comes to life.
As the week unfolds, we’d soak in the charm of The Grove, reveling in its quaint shops and vibrant atmosphere. And what better way to wrap up our dreamy itinerary than with a visit to the iconic Santa Monica Pier, where we’d watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, creating memories to last a lifetime.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
More than my own efforts, it is my parents who deserve a shoutout and all the credit in my story. My father Ar. Sunil A. Dikshit and my mother Mrs. Avanti S. Dikshit willingly chose to help my dreams take flight.
