We had the good fortune of connecting with Erin Gavin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erin, how do you think about risk?
We all have to take a risk at some point in life. It’s just how far are you willing to go! How much do you want it! I moved my life half way across the world in my 20’s knowing no one, for my acting career. It has had it’s challenges but also it’s rewards. One reward that stands out is I played the lead role in a hit play as Marilyn Monroe. We toured US and the UK winning awards.
Life is about making memories and growing. We have to give ourselves that.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like I have lived many lives already. I’ve been broke, I’ve been flush with cash, I’ve taken risks and learned alot of lessons.
Accept that life will not always be easy but that’s okay!
I have no fear when it comes to business, that has given me the chance to be successful. Fear is an illusion. Kick it to the side, you got this!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I recently wrote, produced and directed a short film. I could not have done it without the team and the support! My list is long of thanks! The importance of friends and family who rally when you need it! Also a thank you to Up Next Studios in Scotland for coming on board and seeing and supporting my vision!
