Hi Ozgur, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always been deeply passionate about music and the power it has to connect people and evoke emotions. Pursuing a career in DJing allowed me to channel that passion into something tangible, creating experiences that resonate with others and bring joy to their lives.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a fusion of my diverse musical influences and a deep understanding of what moves people on the dance floor. What sets me apart is my ability to curate unique experiences that captivate audiences and leave them craving more. I take pride in my versatility, seamlessly blending genres and vibes to create unforgettable moments.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has been an opportunity for growth. I’ve learned to embrace setbacks as stepping stones to success, constantly evolving and refining my craft along the way. Perseverance, resilience, and a relentless passion for what I do have been my guiding lights through the toughest times.

My journey is a testament to the power of dedication and staying true to oneself. I want the world to know that behind the beats and melodies lies a deep commitment to authenticity and connection. My brand isn’t just about the music; it’s about fostering community and spreading love through every note. And my story is a reminder that with passion and perseverance, anything is possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For sure! I’d start by taking them to Bar Lis on Tuesday for their open mic jazz event. It’s always buzzing with talented performers and has a great vibe. Thursday evenings are perfect for dinner and drinks at Craigs, followed by catching a performance by a DJ friend of mine. On Friday, we’d spend the day exploring Abbott Kinney, soaking in the unique shops and eateries. Saturday calls for a visit to the iconic The Abbey for some touristy fun. And on Sunday, we’d kick back with a coffee run and leisurely stroll through the farmers market, ending the week on a high note with jazz night at Delilah. Each spot on the itinerary offers a unique and memorable experience. From the vibrant jazz scene at Bar Lis to the lively atmosphere at Craigs, and the eclectic charm of Abbott Kinney, every moment is an opportunity to create lasting memories and immerse ourselves in the richness of the city’s culture. And of course, ending the week with coffee, farmers markets, and jazz night at Delilah adds the perfect touch of relaxation and enjoyment to our adventure!

Absolutely! I’m incredibly grateful for the countless individuals who have crossed paths with me on this journey. From fellow DJs who’ve shared their wisdom, to the strangers who’ve sparked inspiration in the most unexpected places – each person has played a part in shaping my story and making me who I am today.
