We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Coronel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, why did you pursue a creative career?
Not only do I love and enjoy making music, I realized it was my calling. I think being able to sit in the studio and create in my own world is the best feeling I can ever ask for. I started attending music festivals right out of high school and watch so many great artists be able to showcase their craft to the world. Truly recognizing dance music is the culture and community shapes it.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart is I don’t have boundaries to what genres I make. I attended the Los Angeles recording school in Hollywood and I have been making music for over 10 years. It definitely hasn’t been easy but something that you’re passionate about should never have an ending, regardless of how hard it is.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I definitely love to spend time at Huntington Beach , and if I had to choose a hike that I would do everyday it would be at Runyon Canyon in LA.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Insomniac for creating opportunities for upcoming artists in the dance music scene. Also shout out to friends and family that have supported my music along the way
