Meet Michele Wylen | Singer, songwriter, rapper

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Wylen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michele, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Balance is the most crucial thing. Nature is always working to stay in balance. I’ve learned that rest, recovery, and play are key to ensuring that my hustle will stay strong.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I haven’t really performed in forever, just been laying low in the studio, working on myself and my healing. I’m thankful that in the midst of my healing time, I’ve had a lot of great opportunities. It was pretty great to hear my voice on both Kardashians and Selling Sunset last summer. Co-writing “Better Be” by Red Velvet had to be the most random, unexpected studio session that led to awesome rewards. But I’m finally preparing for my first show in a long time. I’m very excited to share it- I don’t think it’s going to be what people expect.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Gotta have a day at the Roosevelt Hotel pool. We gotta play volleyball at Santa Monica beach and hit up the pier there, but we’ll have another beach day at Playa Del Ray for more chill secluded vibes. And the crunchy French toast at Blu Jam cafe is totally worth the hype.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout Braveboy!! He’s always been sending good vibes my way. And he’s dope af!! I love having friends who inspire me. He pushes me to work harder, to create something greater. Can’t wait for his U.S. tour!!!
