Meet Georgia Scheible | Child behaviorist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia Scheible and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Georgia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
There are not enough clinicians working with children these days and i wanted people to be able to have access to mental health that might not be able to otherwise.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started off as a graduate doing internships when I realized that the greedy companies working with children were about money and not really helping children so I wanted to create a place where parents can come to for support as they navigate their parenting journey. I started my own clinical practice from nothing and during that time I realized that a large portion of children and parents were not able to access help because of the financial burden. So I created the Behavior Boss. The Behavior Boss is a place where parents can have access to me, not in a clinical space, but as a behaviorist, parent educator and educational space given my clinical background. I have created courses which are affordable for everyone and even wrote a book!
It was not easy juggling my professional practice and starting up the behavior boss. There were many sleepless nights but the amount of parents I have impacted has made it all worth it!
Something new and exciting is that I’m a part of a new non profit – arfid awareness- supporting and bringing awareness to this eating disorder!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting a trip down to Malibu beach would be in order. We would walk the beach and enjoy lunch at Tony’s Taverna because they have the best Greek food! I’m Greek and have a love for the food!
I would want to take them to Hollywood and show them around and see a show at the Pantages!
