We had the good fortune of connecting with Sash Moreaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sash, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my business as a means of survival as a mother of three it was impossible for me to find work in my unique Co parenting situation, a career where I could get my kids on the bus at 8 am be here when they got off at 3 pm and see my oldest child 2 Saturday’s per month across the country. I couldn’t find a place where I could be present for my kids and also travel with them so I created a career for myself – I hired myself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Meaux Co. is a family owned skincare brand formulated by estheticians. Our line is handcrafted, small batch made, plant-based and professional grade, free of unnecessary synthetics and animal testing. We prioritize eco-friendly packaging and aim to create gentle but corrective skincare solutions for both estheticians and clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We have had offices classes in LA, Las Vegas, two newest locations are in New York and Delaware. I like small vegan shops usually but anytime we bring new people in – I take them to Monty’s Good Burger – they never miss!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big ups to my kids, Who have been the best support system and saw my vision from the beginning always reminding me I can do it. I want to tell Jay, Tay Rain, & Amanda THANK YOU. For keeping me solid when I felt like folding and for being the glue that helps me keep shit together.
