We had the good fortune of connecting with Antonio Josh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Antonio, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Defining success can be challenging, especially when you reach a point in life where you view learning something new every day as a blessing. I believe my success is best described by those close to me, who offer perspectives I might overlook. If there is anything meaningful about any success I may have, it is the ability to inspire and motivate others to pursue their dreams, goals, or true calling. To truly listen to their minds and hearts and remember that they are their only limit. Life is precious, and we shouldn’t waste any time. My brand centers around my personal quote: “It’s better to live a life believing than to live in doubt.”

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a young age, I was drawn to the arts, with a passion for performance that was evident early on. If there’s anything that sets me apart, I would attribute it to my diverse background, bilingual skills, and ethnically ambiguous features, combined with my love for acting and a dedication to the producing process to help others. The reason I am where I am today is my inner drive, which fuels my commitment and relentless pursuit of my dreams. This journey comes with challenges, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It is through life’s challenges that we truly grow and shape ourselves into what we are capable of becoming.

However, it is our responsibility to find the motivation to keep going and inspire others in the process. We can’t do this alone. In my experience, it is only with the support of others that we can overcome many challenges. Throughout this process, I’ve learned how important it is to connect with others and be part of their dreams as well. I want the world to know that a journey fueled by belief, determination, and passion will always keep you at the helm of your destiny.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hollywood offers a variety of daytime and nighttime activities. During the day, you can explore Hollywood Boulevard, the Sunset Strip, the Wax Museum, and historical landmarks like Griffith Observatory and Disneyland. Enjoy the beautiful Malibu Beach, Venice Beach, and the Santa Monica Pier, where you can also catch a timeless sunset.

At night, Hollywood comes alive with bars, nightclubs, restaurants, movie theaters, and plays, providing endless entertainment options.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First of all, I want to shout out to my parents, Lissette Paonessa, my mother, and Antonio Medina Rosado, my father. Their combination of raising me with unconditional love and support gave me the golden heart that beats in my chest, a heart I strive to pass on to others. It’s only right to say we have the best parents in the world when we honor our parents, but I truly could not have become the people-loving person I am or have developed such rare, righteous values in this day and age without them.

I’d also like to shout out to my roommates, William P. Cook and Ashley BeLoat. I would never have made it this far in my filmmaking and acting career if they hadn’t given me the chance to live with them. They are the perfect example of strangers becoming friends and then family. The bond we share is almost indescribable, and these are the types of friendships you hold onto for life. I know it’s hard to trust some times, but I know we have each other’s backs no matter what.
