We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani Craig and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Imani, what do you want your legacy to be?
The legacy we hope to leave behind is community. From fans, to talent, to fellow attendees. We hope to create and foster a community where we can bring people together from all walks of life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets us apart happens to be our biggest strength and weakness. The team is comprised of 9 women from various backgrounds and industries. We work to incorporate each of our industry expertise in our respective positions within the company.

Alexis and Anna, Epic’s Co=Owners, empower each and every one of us to excel in our craft.

While it is a strength to have 9 brains involved, we do struggle with the occasional meeting of the minds. We each have our own perspective and creative direction and melding them into one Epic idea is not always the simplest of feats.

However, an open communication line is paramount to overcoming those barriers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you are coming to Covington, Georgia as a Vampire Diaries fan, you are in for a treat. The Covington square is a relic from the show. From the Mystic Grill, to the clocktower, it’s every TVD fans’ dream!

We love partnering with the businesses in the square, so you can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants. However, one of the teams’ favorite restaurants is the Social Goat.

However, just a few minutes walk from the square you’ll find Caroline Forbes, Elena Gilbert, Grams, and Tyler Lockwood’s houses where they filmed exterior shots.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to shoutout the City of Covington for welcoming us into their town. We would not have been able to execute any of our events without their support and guidance. Endless thank you to all the local businesses who open their doors and hearts to us.
