Meet Kris Miller | Sports Analyst/ Vlogger

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kris Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kris, what role has risk played in your life or career?
As a college football vlogger, investing my own money in the beginning was essential to pursuing my passion and creating content that resonates with fans. Attending games, recording unique perspectives, and capturing the gameday experience from start to finish was more than just a financial investment—it was an investment in storytelling and sharing something meaningful with my audience.
Showing people content they wouldn’t typically see and providing a comprehensive gameday experience for those who couldn’t attend in person became my mission. It’s about bridging the gap between fans and the game, offering insights, analysis, and behind-the-scenes footage that enriches their understanding and enjoyment of college football.Yes, it was a risk. It required sacrificing personal resources and taking a leap of faith into a competitive digital landscape. But that initial investment laid the foundation for credibility, authenticity, and a dedicated following.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart as a college football vlogger is my relentless dedication to authenticity and depth in storytelling. I’m not just covering games; I’m capturing the essence of the gameday experience the sights, sounds, and emotions that make college football unique. My goal is to provide insights and perspectives that fans wouldn’t normally see, giving them a deeper connection to the sport they love.
What I’m most proud of is the journey I’ve taken to get where I am today. It hasn’t been easy. Starting out as a YouTube sports vlogger required perseverance, creativity, and a willingness to take risks. I invested my own money into equipment and travel expenses, committed countless hours to filming and editing, and navigated the challenges of building an audience in a competitive digital landscape.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d start with a laid-back beach day at Venice and Santa Monica, hitting the pier for some games and rides. Then, we’d roll through Beverly Hills, check out Rodeo Drive, and grab a solid brunch. Of course, we’d catch a Lakers, Dodgers, or Rams game and even a concert. We’d mix it up with some art at The Getty and explore Downtown LA for a vibe and history. Hollywood is on the list like the Walk of Fame, a hike up to the Hollywood Sign, and maybe catch a show at the Bowl.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe a lot to my mom for her unwavering support and encouragement throughout my journey as a college football vlogger. She’s been there every step of the way, pushing me to strive for excellence and never settle for less than my best. Her belief in my abilities and her constant encouragement have been a driving force behind my success. Whether it’s staying up late to edit videos, traveling to games, or facing challenges in the competitive world of sports vlogging, her words of wisdom and motivation have kept me grounded and focused.
