We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Herrera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cindy, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my business has taught me is the value of adaptability. In an ever-changing landscape, being able to pivot and adjust to new challenges, market shifts, and unexpected obstacles has been crucial to my success. Networking played a crucial role building and maintaining relationships with the right people has lead to business opportunities for collaborations, mentorship, and resources that opened doors that may not have otherwise.
I’ve learned that while having a clear vision and plan is important, it’s equally vital to remain flexible and open to new ideas. This mindset has allowed me to seize opportunities I might have otherwise missed and to grow both personally and professionally. Which is where I came up with the business name Vision Liens.
Adaptability has also taught me resilience—how to navigate setbacks with a positive outlook and use them as learning experiences. This lesson has been fundamental in sustaining long-term success and in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within my business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are consultants dedicated to assisting personal injury attorneys with file closures. Our expertise includes reducing medical liens, such as health insurance liens from Medicaid, Medicare, ERISA, and private providers. With 18 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the industry’s top-performing attorneys.

Our forward-thinking approach has been a key factor in our success over the past eight years. When COVID-19 struck, our trained team was ready to support firms that were struggling to transition to remote work. Convincing attorneys to repurpose their in-house staff to outsource this work was a challenge, but we demonstrated that we could help them save on overhead costs.
By specializing in case closures, we deliver optimal results more efficiently and often faster than someone juggling multiple roles within a firm.

One lesson learned aong the way is adaptability .
I want the world to know that our brand is built on expertise, trust, and a genuine commitment to supporting personal injury attorneys. Our story is one of adaptability and innovation—rooted in nearly two decades of industry experience and a passion for helping our clients achieve the best outcomes.
We prioritize relationships and understand the unique challenges attorneys face, which allows us to provide tailored solutions that streamline the closure process. Our success is not just measured by numbers, but by the positive impact we have on the firms we work with and the clients they serve.

Ultimately, we aim to be a valuable partner in the legal community, consistently pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in case management.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I was fortunate enough to have great mentors in my career that catapolted me into seeing the need to outsource.
Rex Parris Firm un matched training made me have a hunger to learn different ways to help the injured clients, Candice Bond tenacity and guidance made me see there where other opportunities and being able to learn from a serial entrepreneur like Steven Mehr and many other Attorneys that have believed in my approach. As many entrepreneurs taking that first leap of faith is the hardest, the uncertainty, the fear of failure but that was my driving factor. One book in particular that I read the year I decided to go out on my own was the 5 second rule by Mel Robbins, completely changed my life it was a powerful tool for overcoming self doubt and hesitation. I knew that I had a service everyone needed and no one knew about.
