It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day, but it’s important to stop and ask: what’s the end goal? Knowing where you are trying to go is step one in getting there and so we’ve asked some folks we admire to tell us their end goal and where they want to be by the end of their careers.

Daniel Velazquez

By the of my career I would love to be teaching the new and even current generation all my knowledge and skills. I’ve always loved figuring out the best way to explain something the watching the flicker of knowledge spark in their eyes as they figure their art out. Read more>>

Art is a profound language that communicates beyond words. My ultimate goal is to become a versatile creative translator, using art to craft immersive experiences, express personal truths and connect with the community. While I currently focus on sculpting and painting, I aspire to incorporate movement, music, and even scents into my work. My aim is to share healing energy through my creations, give different perspectives in life, inspiring audiences to process emotions and feel seen and understood. In the gaming industry, where I currently work, I’d like to lead a team in creating immersive worlds rich with storytelling moments. These worlds would inspire empathy, bring positivity, and remind people of their shared humanity through deeply emotional and transformative experiences. Read more>>

The end goal is having no regrets. Knowing that I lived my life in full, helped the world in a positive way to create change and had fun along the way. I am so lucky to get to be an artist and filmmaker. That everything else is bonus. I would love to create more work internationally and have my own studio. Read more>>

Said Saliba | Persolan Chef

My ultimate dream is to open my own restaurant—not just in the U.S., but also in Lebanon, and perhaps even in my hometown “Chrine”.
This restaurant would feature a seasonal menu inspired by stories of how I learned each recipe, using authentic spices to create a global culinary journey in a serene, uniquely designed space and a big palette of choices. I might name it Samar (meaning “night whispers”) in honor of my mother, who has been my inspiration and partner in perfecting recipes and adding creative twists. Read more>>

Elisa Bell | Screenwriter

Before I start at the end, I’ll start at the start. I’ve been a professional working screenwriter for over 25 years. Somehow, I knew early on what I wanted to do: write. The form that I fell in love with was screenwriting. I graduated from the USC Cinema School and then worked at Tri-Star Pictures in the story department all day, while I wrote scripts at night. After I wrote my eighth script (yes, that’s a lot of pages and passes) I sold my ninth script. I “grew up” during the golden age of spec scripts, where studio bidding wars often took spec prices into the stratosphere. I was lucky enough to write one of those scripts, Thirty Wishes. (A script with Michael J. Read more>>

Since I started music the end goal has always been clear.

I want to create a community and platform to take care of the people around me, who have supported me on this journey. As well as share my music/art.

I have had this vision since I started and slowly but surely am watching it come to life. But I know in time I will be exactly where I’ve dreamt of all those years ago.

I want to help other artists grow and provide them a platform to express themselves.
In not just music but many art forms. I think that’s the beauty of what you can do when you reach a certain level In This industry. Read more>>
