Meet Andie Morales | Personal Trainer and Pole Fitness Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andie Morales and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andie, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
My most difficult decision was to become a single mommy. My baby gave me the strength and courage to believe in myself, follow my dreams and fight for a beautiful life for both of us.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Fitness Instructor and Pole Fitness Artist and Coach. I love exercising, dancing and inspiring others to have a healthy lifestyle. Fitness is my passion and it has changed my life. I love teaching people how to move their bodies, relax their mind and feel good about themselves. I’m very empathetic and I love helping others so this job is perfect for me. I’m excited every time I have a session with a client because we laugh, we talk, we workout and we spend a great time. It wasn’t easy to be where I am today because being a single mom is the hardest job a woman can do. Being in a toxic relationship made me lose myself but thanks God I realized soon enough. It took me one year after having my baby to recover physically and mentally. It was super challenging starting from zero but Fitness and my baby gave me the strength to keep going. Now I’m back on my feet again and thanks to the support of my family I’m able to be me again and keep doing what I love. I’m very proud of myself. I want to inspire others, mostly single moms, to feel empowered and able to do what they want. I want to show them that they are enough, beautiful and important. Nobody can tell them that they can’t do anything. The sky is the limit. Just believe in yourself and keep fighting!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not a big fan of restaurants so we would probably eat mostly homemade food at home and we would definitely have picnics on the park, beach and mountains. We would go out at night to Latin clubs like La Descarga in Hollywood because we love dancing and we also would go to Disney and Universal Studios. We may take a trip to Big Bear to do some snowboarding and enjoy a hot chocolate in a comfy cabin. But mostly we would go to enjoy the nature. We would go hiking, see the Hollywood mountains and to the beach most of the time. I would take her to Malibu, Laguna Beach and Santa Monica.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family. Mostly my parents. I wouldn’t be here without them. They helped me from the beginning and they keep helping me in every way possible.
