I love this question because it touches on a topic that isn’t discussed much in the art world. For some reason, talking about money is seen as uncool in this environment, but it’s crucial to share strategies and thoughts about finances.
I’ve been a freelance worker for over ten years. During this time, I’ve gone through periods where I had to take jobs unrelated to art just to make ends meet. I worked in an ice cream shop and a camping goods store, among other things. As a result, money has always been a topic that generates anxiety, unease, and fear about the future. Read more>>

Postcards from the Edge by Carrie Fisher is a book that really touched me. It is very much autobiographical on Carrie’s life but the story does have this heightened reality to it. But the thing to me that struck me most about was how it was able to ride this line of being fully sarcastic as well as completely sincere. It was a beautiful meld of those two things when exploring just sort of day to day stories in the main character’s life. It’s a wonderful book. Read more>>

Happiness for me stems from two intertwined dimensions: immersive personal experiences and creative contributions to others’ experiences.
As both a game designer and a passionate player, I find joy in deeply engaging with experiences—both as a creator and as an explorer. When I play games, I am captivated by the opportunity to connect with my own feelings and reflections. My life as a dance artist performer, and esthetician is a beautiful blend of passion and purpose. Dancing and performing on stage allows me to express my creativity, connect deeply with audiences, and share stories through movement. The thrill of each performance fuels my spirit, while the discipline of the craft keeps me grounded. Equally fulfilling is my work as an esthetician, where I help people feel confident in their own skin by guiding them through personalized skincare routines and treatments. The joy of witnessing their transformations is as rewarding as the applause after a performance. These two worlds, though different, share a common thread—bringing happiness, confidence, and inspiration to others, which is what makes my journey truly meaningful. Read more>>

During the last years I’ve always had moment where I wish I could go back in time and tell to my younger self that one day she’ll come true some of her dreams. Honestly, I’ve also realized that if I knew that one day I’ll get all of this, I probably didn’t work as hard as I did. Because it’s not the security of success that makes you get up from bed and pick up the guitar even in the hardest days, it’s the hunger in your stomach of want to do this for the rest of your life.

The most important lesson my career/business has taught me is embrace change fearlessly, whether it means pivoting, trying something new or taking calculated risks.
I’ve faced decisions like moving across the country multiple times, making bold moves in my career despite the fear of starting over, starting and dissolving a business (only to start a new business venture), and learning entirely new skills. Through it all, I’ve realized there’s no such thing as a mistake — only a choice with an opportunity to learn and grow. Read more>>

I grew up in a family of educators. Many of my family members not only worked hard in their professional fields but also dedicated themselves to teaching young artists and designers, passing on the skills and experiences they had gained.
