Meet Marlet Sanchez | Marlet Sanchez | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marlet Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marlet, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“I am not alone, and I am enough.” It’s a reminder that no matter where I am or what I’m going through, I have the strength and support I need to overcome anything. Knowing God is with me gives me that same sense of confidence to face each day with trust and resilience.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My photos are all about capturing real, emotional moments that tell a story. As a photographer, I focus on connection and authenticity rather than just posed shots. What sets me apart is the personal experience I create for my clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and truly seen during every session.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s okay to take your time.
Another important lesson has been the value of community. As a creative, collaboration, support, and encouragement from others in the industry have been essential to my growth. Lastly, I’ve learned to trust in my own unique vision. It’s easy to get caught up in what others are doing, but staying true to myself and my passion has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
I want my photography to not only create beautiful images but also evoke emotion and connect with people. Ultimately, my goal is to capture moments that matter and leave a lasting impression showing people the beauty of authenticity in every image.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I want to give all the glory and thanks to God for His constant guidance, strength, and provision. Every step of this journey has been a testament to His grace, and I couldn’t have come this far without His presence in my life.
Secondly, I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my amazing husband. Balancing a full-time job, being a wife, and running my photography business wouldn’t be possible without his endless support. He’s been there every step of the way doing whatever it takes to make sure I can focus and succeed . His commitment and love mean the world to me.
It truly takes a village, and I’m so thankful for the people who have stood by me, encouraging me along the way.
