Meet Tracy Griffiths

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Tracy Griffiths again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Tracy , always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
’m Tracy Griffiths, and my life’s work is a fusion of the healing arts, movement, and aromatherapy. As the founder of Aroma Yoga®, I guide people in integrating essential oils with yoga, breathwork, and energy healing to support deep, holistic well-being. My practice also includes Polarity Therapy, Cranial Sacral Unwinding, and Trauma Release Exercise (TRE®), all of which help regulate the nervous system, release stored tension, and foster lasting transformation.
Beyond working with individuals, I teach Aroma TRE® workshops and essential oil-based healing techniques to both wellness professionals and the broader community. I also collaborate with organizations like Embark Behavioral Health and the Motion Picture Television Fund, helping to make these practices accessible to those who need them most.
What sets me apart is my multi-faceted approach—blending modern science with ancient healing traditions, creating practical yet profound experiences. At the heart of my work is a deep desire to help people reconnect with themselves—physically, emotionally, and energetically—so they can move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Since we last connected, life has brought unexpected challenges and profound growth.
Recently, I lost my home in the Pacific Palisades Fire—a heartbreaking experience that has tested me in ways I never imagined. Yet, through this loss, I have found deeper clarity and purpose, reminding me of the resilience we all carry within us. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my practice in Oxnard, CA, where I am embracing a new chapter of healing and service.
One of the most meaningful projects in my life right now is Bodywork Brigade 2.0, a mission-driven effort to provide trauma-informed bodywork to firefighters, first responders, and those affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. This initiative builds upon the work I led in Lahaina after the 2023 fires, where my team and I provided hundreds of healing sessions to survivors in need. The demand for post-crisis bodywork is immense, and I feel deeply called to continue this work, bringing much-needed nervous system support to those navigating trauma and recovery.
In addition, I am excited to be teaching Aroma TRE® and Aroma Yoga® in Oxnard, CA, welcoming new clients for private sessions. This transition has given me the opportunity to expand my work in a fresh environment, supporting people in their journey toward greater balance, stress relief, and emotional well-being through movement, energy healing, and aromatherapy.
Another exciting development is my role in the Distance Healing Academy at the Life Energy Institute. This program trains practitioners in quantum-based frequency healing—an emerging field that allows us to facilitate deep transformation, even from a distance. The academy is the culmination of over 50 years of study in energy-based healing modalities, and I am honored to help guide students in mastering these skills.
At the core of all these endeavors is a simple but powerful truth: healing is not just about recovery—it’s about transformation. Whether working hands-on or from a distance, I remain dedicated to serving individuals and communities with compassion and expertise, helping them move forward with resilience and renewal.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?

Was there a moment in your career that you can tell us about that illustrates or demonstrates the kind of person you are, your approach, ethos, etc.
One of the most defining moments in my career was creating and leading the Bodywork Brigade in Lahaina after the devastating 2023 fires. With my sister’s support, we fundraised, organized a team of 11 healing arts practitioners, and provided nearly 180 trauma-informed healing sessions over the course of six days.
Witnessing the profound impact of this work—seeing people soften, release, and regain a sense of peace amidst loss—deepened my understanding of the power of community, service, and the healing arts. It solidified my commitment to showing up, holding space, and using my skills to support people in their darkest moments.
Now, as I step forward into Bodywork Brigade 2.0, I carry that same commitment into my work with first responders, volunteers, and those affected by the recent fires. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that while we can’t always prevent loss, we can show up to help people heal—not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. That is what drives me every single day.
