Meet Fiorella | Digital Marketer | World Traveler | Curious | Resilient

We had the good fortune of connecting with Fiorella and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Fiorella, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ve taken risks all my life. Even when I was afraid, fear never paralyzed me, it pushed me forward. I took the risk of studying a master’s degree in Australia without being fluent in English. I moved to Germany without knowing the language or anyone there. I’ve become almost addicted to starting from zero because I’ve learned that you grow every time you step into the unknown. Taking risks has shaped who I am and opened doors I never imagined. Without risk, there’s no real growth.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I work as a digital marketing consultant, and my mission is to help small business owners and entrepreneurs grow online and connect with their audience in an authentic, meaningful way. What sets me apart is my international perspective and ability to adapt quickly, skills I developed by living, studying, and working in different countries around the world.
I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve built a life and career on my own terms. I’ve lived in over five countries, I’ve been to more than sixty countries, learned four languages, started from scratch more than once, and each time, I’ve come out stronger and more confident.
My journey hasn’t been easy. I studied a master’s degree in Australia without being fluent in English. Later, I moved to Germany without knowing the language or a single person. I constantly chose the harder path because I believed in something bigger, that I was meant for more, and that I could help others do the same. Currently, I’m living in Italy and learning Italian.
I’ve learned that fear is not something to avoid, but something to move through. I’ve also learned that resilience, curiosity, and authenticity are the most powerful tools you can have—not just in business, but in life.
What I want the world to know is that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself. You can change your life, your career, your mindset, and your future. That’s what I try to bring into everything I do—through my marketing work, my courses, and the content I share online. My story is about freedom, courage, and building a life that feels true to you.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit me in Genoa, Italy, I’d plan a mix of local gems, coastal beauty, and amazing food. We’d start with a walk through the historic center—Via Garibaldi, the Palazzi dei Rolli, and the old port. We’d have an aperitivo at Les Rouges and fresh pesto trofie. One day we’d take a boat trip to Camogli and San Fruttuoso, hike to Portofino, and swim in hidden coves. Another day, we’d hop on the train to Cinque Terre for the views and limoncello. We’d hang out at Boccadasse for sunset, grab focaccia and gelato, and end the week with a seafood dinner by the sea at Santa Margherita. Genoa is full of charm, and every corner has a story.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Books have always inspired me, especially personal development stories, cultural explorations, and spiritual insights. Some of the first books that deeply influenced me were The 4-Hour Workweek, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and Live It! Achieve Success by Living Your Purpose. I believe that books choose you, and throughout my journey, I’ve been lucky to find the right book at the perfect moment. I’m incredibly grateful for the authors and stories that have shaped my path.
