We had the good fortune of connecting with Joskie Noble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joskie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Choosing to live my life authentically is a risk. Choosing to post myself looking the way I do and doing the things I do, is a risk. I run the risk of people not liking me. Not accepting me. Ridiculing me. I run the risk of being ostracized. However, even with those risks, I found that it turned out even better than I would’ve imagined and received so much support. I started growing my online presence quickly, even offline, people receive me with open arms and it’s truly heartwarming. Without risk there is no reward.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It certainly wasn’t an easy road to get to where I am today. Especially emotionally. But with consistency, a sense of letting go, and ambition, opportunities that I wouldn’t have imagined are now coming my way. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is not to stall. Just do it and learn as you go. I want the world to know that it’s okay to be yourself and even if you feel alone or like no one can relate, there always will be someone who can.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In LA, there is a little bit of everything for everybody. I would do a brunch in West Hollywood. A dinner in Beverly Hills. Then dance the night away in Downtown LA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly, I’d dedicate this journey to a few things. The Brazilian culture, Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, & Jessica Alves. When I was in a very low point in my life, I discovered all three of these at the same time and became incredibly blown away and inspired by their resilience, optimism, & dignity.
