Meet Tony Nguyen | Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Nguyen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tony, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the most important factor behind my success is staying authentic to myself and my patients. During consultations, I provide recommendations based on their concerns, which helps them feel heard and understood. I’ve found that patients are more receptive when we offer solutions tailored to their needs. This not only addresses their concerns but also boosts their health, well-being, and builds trust.
Another key factor is my commitment to continuous learning. At HydraBeach, we constantly innovate by incorporating the latest evidence-based procedures, techniques, and products to ensure the safest and most effective treatments for our patients. This dedication to staying curious, current, and delivering high-quality personalized care has been instrumental in building my brand’s success.

What should our readers know about your business?
HydraBeach is a medical aesthetics practice that combines my critical care nursing and advanced practice expertise, military discipline, and passion for holistic patient care to provide safe, personalized, and evidence-based aesthetic treatments. At HydraBeach, we specialize in botulinum toxin injections (i.e. Dysport/Botox), dermal fillers (i.e. Restylane/Juvederm), vitamins IV hydration, stem cells treatments, Morpheus 8 microneedling, Lumecca IPL, Diolaze XL laser hair removal, Evolve X body contouring, HydraFacial, and other customized wellness treatment plans designed to enhance our patients’ health, confidence, and overall well-being. What sets HydraBeach apart is our commitment to safety, education, and authenticity. I firmly believe that medical aesthetics should not be about a quick, superficial fix; instead, providers must understand the science and safety of the procedures they’re performing to properly enhance self-esteem and improve the quality of life for patients. Unlike other providers who rely on minimal training or unaccredited courses, our staff invest heavily in ongoing accredited hands-on education, attend annual conferences, and stay updated on the latest peer-reviewed research to ensure the highest standards of care. I often tell my patients, “You’re not just paying for a syringe of filler or Botox units—you’re investing in the expertise and training of your provider.” This philosophy has earned the trust of my clients and distinguishes HydraBeach as a practice that prioritizes quality over quantity.
I am incredibly proud of the culture I’ve created at HydraBeach. After experiencing the toxicity and burnout of traditional healthcare systems as a travel nurse, I wanted to build a space where both patients and providers feel valued and supported. Every consultation, procedure, and follow-up is an opportunity to connect with the patients on a meaningful level, and their satisfaction and trust are my greatest rewards. I’m also proud of how far I’ve come in this journey. Transitioning from bedside nursing to aesthetic medicine presented a steep learning curve, but my background in nursing, military discipline, and the support of my family provided a solid foundation to adapt and thrive.
My journey to starting HydraBeach was not easy by any means. Growing up in a family of business owners, I witnessed firsthand the stress and sacrifices that come with entrepreneurship. I initially swore off following in my family’s footsteps in business, but life had other plans. After working as a travel nurse in high-stress hospital environments, I realized I needed a change. A conversation with my sister planted the seed of starting my own business, and with the support of my family, I took the leap into aesthetic medicine.
One of the biggest challenges was overcoming my initial hesitation about establishing my own business. However, the thoughts of creating a safe working environment for myself, while still able to develop meaningful connections with patients is more welcoming than working 12-hour shifts at the hospital. Another challenge was establishing trust in a competitive industry where some providers prioritize profit over safety. I overcame this by being transparent with my patients, educating them about the importance of choosing a qualified provider, and consistently delivering exceptional results.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way are invaluable:
1. Educated Risk-Taking: Research, preparation, and continuous learning reduce the risks of failure.
2. Authenticity Matters: Being genuine with my patients builds trust and loyalty.
3. Resilience is Key: Challenges are inevitable, but perseverance leads to growth.
I want the world to know that HydraBeach is more than just an aesthetic practice—it’s a place where patients can feel safe, heard, and empowered. My mission is to improve lives one appointment at a time, not just by enhancing appearances but by boosting confidence and well-being. My story is a testament to the power of stepping out of your comfort zone, taking educated risks, and staying true to your values. I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions, embrace challenges, and create something meaningful. At HydraBeach, we’re not just about beauty—we’re about authenticity, safety, and making a positive impact, one patient at a time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I could travel back in time and whisper to my younger self, “You will open your own business in your twenties,” my younger self would be flabbergasted and think I’m out of my mind. I come from a family of business owners—my grandparents owned a moped tire shop and a Pho restaurant, my dad recently retired after 30+ years as a tax accountant, and my sister has been successfully running her wellness spa for 13 years now. Growing up, I helped my dad and sister with their businesses and witnessed the stress they experienced, from ensuring compliance to working late nights and making countless sacrifices. The fruition of my business would not have been possible without the guidance and support of my family, placing me in the position I am today. I am still in the infancy stage of “business” when compared to the businesses of my sister or my dad, but in addition to their support, I would like to give a shoutout to the Aesthetic Immersion. This company, along with its founders, Dr. Gideon Kwok and aesthetic nurse practitioner Lori Robertson, has provided me with a robust and comprehensive aesthetic training that has been another source of my success.
