Meet Mr.Jay Rosa | CEO & Founder of GoldenJRosa

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mr.Jay Rosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mr.Jay, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my own business was, at the inception of GoldenJRosa I definitely endeavoured to marry two of my favorite passions, Music & Business. Thus preceeding from my career as a professional tennis player, taking all the skills I learned off court, managing sponsorship/financial deals, scheduled meetings for preseason & in season. Then therefore considering! “Hey! Let me do this with my music! It’s fun & there will never not be a moment where I’ll be without having music. Likewise seeing artist have a fruitful brand from the music totally excited me for that fact, knowing that it is possible to turn my brand of music into a successful functioning business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I wouldn’t consider myself to be apart from others, as mostly I am truly working on my brand to achieve the greatness & gold that it is worth. I am most excited about the release of 👑GoldenJRosa’s👑 debut album “Rosa One” that is scheduled to release December 17th 2025. Where I got to today professionally, has been a journey but simply put, my school St.Catherines introduced music on a higher level, a fellow student that knew me, always saw that I was playing around with my grandfather’s guitars at home. Then therefore suggesting, “hey you great at computers try out the music”. Fast forward 3 years later one of my guitar mentors invited me for a recording session with fellow musicians then leading me to start my first band with the thoughts of making money to support my professional tennis career financially. A major catalyst for definitely yearning to create an album, play live & tour like a rockstar akin to Slash. I lived in Europe for a long time period playing professional tennis, on my downtime from tennis I would be around musicians & shows. Likewise playing restaurants to earn some extra cash & refining my skills. It was not particularly easy, especially 10 years ago when I started, on my journey there was a lot of changes in my life, however between the fact of having tennis, music & business as my dreams it was the lifeline that keep me going, so to say that there were obstacles in my career well of course there were but it was totally minor, because I already had the mindset thinking, this is mostly what I will encounter while creating success. The lessons I learned along the way, is definitely grit & determination, holding on persistently to what one believes inwardly what is destined for you and just having the patience to stick it through until what you once felt was a dream will soon turn into being your new reality.
I would love for the world to know that 👑GoldenJRosa👑is definitely Rock Royalty 👑remincing on the roots of rock & appreciating the past pop hits!
To truly experience a show & original material that is unique to itself, creating a new true sound that resonates for the generations in the 21st century 👑📀

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ohhh this is an easy one haha…luckily for me, my best friend & myself live in the same area. It’s amazing because the village we live in is so similar to Wonderland, (Like Alice In Wonderland). So there is a string of neat restaurants & cafes. Tennis courts where we play all the time (Henley Tennis Club). The Henley Performing Arts Society where we both partake in shows, going for hikes by the nearby nature reserve. However there is a place we would love to visit in Paris at the time of the French Open where there is a cafe that has chickens walking around while the customers enjoy their coffee. Then the other is playing tennis in Ibiza, having a plethora of animals around us, horses, rabbits, border collies & penguins. Definitely great food & desserts, my friend Bridget loves her food😋

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes! Wow honestly there is plenty of people I’d be honored to give a shoutout to! Including my mother Luize Tattle truly amazing woman, my grandparents, uncle & aunt, my mentors in my professional tennis career, mentors at the beginning of my music career. Most importantly at this moment in real time Bridget Haddath utmost best friend, the community of Henley On Klip & the Henley Performing Arts Society for all the support & believe in me & my talents & growth to success.
